🎃 Exploring English Grammar and Celtic Traditions 🍂

Samhain is a festival with deep roots in Celtic culture, marking the transition from the harvest season to winter.

Many customs associated with Samhain have persisted over centuries, evolving into the practices we see in Halloween today – such as the focus on the supernatural and the celebration of the harvest. The familiar symbols of pumpkins, ghosts, and witches can all be traced back to these ancient traditions. 👻🕯️🎃

During their Friday English lessons, our high school students not only learned about the historical background of this popular holiday, but also revised English grammar and vocabulary while working in an escape room-style activity. 🧩🔐

Their English classroom was transformed into an interactive space, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving — all while using English in a practical, engaging context. 💬✨

Once again, we’ve proven that the best way to learn a language is to make it fun! 🌟
